4500N Laboratory Administration

Building 4500N is where the offices of the Laboratory Director, Human Resources and Communications are located. It’s also home to the Science and Technology Partnerships Directorate. Partnerships focuses on collaborations with universities, private industries, other government agencies and labs, as well as efforts to increase regional economic development and technology commercialization.

Building 4500N is also home to the Climate Change Science Institute (CCSI). The institute specializes in providing a cross-disciplinary perspective on scientific projects in climate modeling, observations and experimentation. CCSI uses the laboratory’s world-class computational capabilities to explore pressing issues, such as the impact of extreme weather events on the nation’s energy systems and infrastructure.
